An eighteenth century listed historical monument, located 14km south of Bordeaux in this Graves de Léognan region where the first vineyard were planted in Bordeaux 2000 years ago. It has a rich history and the modern installations are worth a detour.

Founded in the thirteenth century by the Benedictine monks of the Abbaye de Sainte Croix, Château Carbonnieux is one of Bordeaux's oldest properties. Marc Perrin acquired the château in 1856, which became a cru classé in 1859 for its red and white wines. Eric and Philibert continue to uphold the estate's reputation.

Château d'Arche, a Sauternes Classified Growths, is located in the middle of a 50 hectare vineyard above the town of Sauternes. Traditional vineyard techniques; the careful vinification and skilful blending contribute to the exceptional quality of Château d'Arche's wines.

Built between17th and 18th centuries, the family Perromat owns the castle of Cérons since 1958. Jean and Xavier Perromat produce a wonderful sweet wine on an original graves soil of 16ha. The castle is registered in the additional inventory of Historic monuments.

Château Pape Clément, Cru Classé de Graves, invites you to visit its vineyard, vat room and cellars and let its seven centuries of history cast their spell over you.

An 1855 Sauternes Premier Grand Cru Classé, Château Guiraud is well-known for its organic treatment of noble rot, its environmental approach and the finesse of its sweet wines. Access to the vineyard, visit to the cellars, explanation of the wine making process and tasting.

Going further with Chantegrive's dream… Château de Chantegrive is a family-owned estate situated at the heart of its 100 hectares of vines, making it one of the largest and most prestigious vineyards in the Graves appellation. Member of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux since 1985, a real impetus was given since 2006 due to the expert advice of Hubert de Bouard, the world-famous oenologist and owner of Chateau Angelus in Saint Emilion.
