Proof of his astonishing maturity and exceptional swing, he quickly became the darling of Boogie fans all over Paris, but not only. Nirek was lucky enough to open for the late Lucky Peterson! Curtis SALGADO, a fixture on the international blues scene with a career spanning over 40 years, Curtis Salgado began his career as leader of the Nighthawks in Oregon. First singer with the Robert Cray band, he was later to be found as frontman for Roomful Of Blues, before founding his own band, the Stilletos, in 1991, and appearing with Carlos Santana in 1995. Meanwhile, his friendship with the late John Belushi had made him the eminence grise of the Blues Brothers...
