Lillet was first produced in 1887. It is a unique, natural blend of terroir wines and liqueurs from noble fruits, aged traditionally in casks of stave oak. Tour of the period distillery and the advertising exhibition: posters, fans, labels, etc. Free tasting. 15/06 to 15/09, daily from 9.30am to 6pm (please ‘phone in advance). This beautiful house welcomes visitors who appreciate the delicacy of the great wines of Graves. With 200 wines sold at château prices, the vinothèque offers wine lovers a chance to taste red and white A.O.C. Graves and Pessac-Léognan, and the Crus Classés of Graves.

This association of 60 wine-makers is the showcase for the appellation. The Maison is open all year (except on 25/12 and 01/01), including public holidays, from 9am to 7pm during the week, and from 10am to 7pm at the weekend.

Family estate with seven hectares in the process of converting to organic farming. Production of red and dry white Graves. Manual, traditional techniques employed in order obtain authentic wines expressing the terroir. Low yields. Very moderate use of new barrels for maturing of the reds.

Located twenty kilometres from Bordeaux, in the Graves appellation in La Brède (childhood home of the philosopher Montesquieu), the vineyard is adjacent to the appellation of Pessac-Léognan. Cultivated using minimum pesticide and Terra Vitis techniques, the vineyard is currently in conversion to organic farming.

In the heart of the Graves region, the Ardurats family will be pleased to welcome you to this very old 45 hectare estate, whose vines are close to Château de La Brède. Château Magneau has Terra Vitis certification for minimum use of pesticides.

Wine producing château. Magnificent eighteenth century charterhouse on a 30 hectare estate with three parks containing various species of three hundred year old trees. Numerous grape varieties for red and white wines have been planted in the deep gravel soil.

Château Bardins is a charming property with 9.5 hectares of vines in a wooded haven south of Bordeaux in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Production of red and white wines. There is a curiosity in the woods: a replica of the cave in Lourdes, a pilgrimage site for more than a century.

The Domaine de Grandmaison has 19 hectares and is located on the left bank of the Eau Blanche. The soil consists of siliceous gravel, and gravelly clay with irregular lumps of limestone that enables the production of elegant, refined, complex wines. Jean and François Bouquier will be happy to show you the domain at any time of year.

An eighteenth century listed historical monument, located 14km south of Bordeaux in this Graves de Léognan region where the first vineyard were planted in Bordeaux 2000 years ago. It has a rich history and the modern installations are worth a detour.

From the 16th Century the Bouscaut's vinyard is located in Cadaujac. 7 hectares of wite grapes and about fifty hectares of red.

This wine chateau is exceptional through its history, terroir and its architecural style. An inner cooper who makes two barrels a day, two horses working on ten hectars of white vine, a magestic underground wine storehouse, a XVII century chapel, modern sculptures of international artists situated in the main courtyard, two function rooms with a view on the vinyard.
